Safe.Maybe too much.

I have lived in a few countries in Europe, South America and Asia. And without a doubt China is the safest country I have EVER been to!

In terms of safety no country can be compared to China.

In China l have walked home from KTV at 2 am in the morning and never had the slightest sense of being in danger. I’m not saying it is a great idea to do that. But if I as a woman, feel safe enough.

I lived for three years in China and went to clubs almost every day during that time. I agree with all the things you said about it. I’ve (multiple times) seen women very drunk on the road, alone and shortly-dressed, and no one bothered them.In the United States, this kind of thing is unthinkable

I lived in china for more than 10 years, I can tell you with responsibility that China is a very safety county.

Go out at night.In my country, going out at night is really dangerous, there is a high probability that you will be robbed. However, in china I always go out with my friends at midnight for BBQ, went to clubs and feels very comfortable walked in the streets. Never been deterred or threatened.

Why china is so safety?

I’m an American currently

I’ll give you an example from the city I live in, Shenzhen. There are two giant parks I live near, Shenzhen Central Park and Lianhua Park. I regularly go walking through those parks at 2AM or later. I wouldn’t try doing that in San Francisco or New York City.

Last time I got scared in the park, it was 4AM and I heard a strange noise from behind the trees. I went around the corner to investigate and there was an elderly couple practicing Tai Chi. Needless to say.It was the only time I was scared in China.

I thought I met a ghost.ha-ha.

Very safe! The amazing thing is that the majority of cities in eastern Asian countries are very safe, even at midnight. But that does not mean you are totally safe. You still need to watch about autos!

China is safer than every country that I had ever seen. For example,I went for a walk at 1 a.m. in a normal weekend, and I saw someone was still running on the street. I think I will never do this in US or Europe.

Most of cities (especially Tier-1 cities) in China are quite safe, and our crime rate is still decreasing.

China is one of the 50 safest countries, so never worry about China’s safety. no one will kidnap you,

In my opinion, China is safe for tourist. I am living in Kunming from 2015 to till now. Undoubtedly, it’s a great experience for me to stay and travel throughout China. I have lots of friends there; they are very favorable and willing to help at any time.
