@Red trends atleast we have fertile lands and young population. Japan also has no resources despite having a small population (compared to india&china) it was a superpower in 1980’s and 90’s. We can also be a super power with less resources than china also.

China liberalised and globalized its economy much before us in the 80’s bcoz there politicians care for their country not like us who cares only for themselves and their families. And despite being globalising the indian economy after a decade we have economic sanctions for nuclear bomb test and stock market crash because of corrupt politicians and banking system in the 90s. And btw india has more fertile land than china and life sustaining commodity is more important than mineral resources. And if india want then can import mineral resources from australia like japan&uk.

@hero phix yes that’s true, unfortunately our country’s GDP growth couldn’t catch china. We have been economically sanctioned by the all the countries of the world for nuclear bomb tests and after that slowly slowly our growth rate revived but 2008 economic crash came then our new strict policies of demonetization and new tax policy of GST. This big things are the reason that Indian Economic Miracle was not possible like the Chinese, Japanese, Koreans and Germans. But still the main reason was nuclear tests…..
