Powerful in what sense? Surely Chinese economy is 6th-7th time bigger than India’s. It’s three major defence services – land, air and navy, are also much bigger than India. So China is more powerful than India. But in actual war India will give a toughest blow to China due to India’s advantageous position. It hold a much strategically important position in the Bay of Bengal and Indian ocean, where it can disconnect the Chinese crude oil supply route. In LAC India’s mountain brigade holds such an upper hand position that to counter 1.5 lakh military China has to amass about 13.5 lakes of soldiers.
哪一方实力更强？
毫无疑问，中国经济规模比印度经济大6-7倍。
中国海陆空三军也比印度强大多了。
从以上方面来说，中国比印度更强大。
不过真的开战，印度也能给中国带来一番苦战。

I am an Indian and also proud to be, and this character of mine makes me go on arguing with anyone who says anything wrong about my country. But being an Indian I am an ethical person(taught by my nation) on the same line. So speaking True about the powerful nations out of China and India, keeping a rock on my heart I would call China more powerful than INDIA. But that doesn’t mean China can subdue India. No doubt that India is the leader of the third world countries and also possess nuclear power but when it comes on accounting of the powers China steal the place.

China dwarfs India in overall defence capabilities. Its defence budget stands at $152 billion against India’s $51 billion, which is three times that of India.

India has around 1.2 million active personnel, 4,426 combat tanks, 6,704 armoured fighting vehicles, 290 self-propelled artillery, 7,414 towered artillery and 290 rocket projectors.
On the other hand, China has around 2.3 million personnel in active service with 6,457 in combat tanks, 4,788 armoured fighting vehicles, 1,710 self-propelled artillery, 6,246 towered artillery and 1,770 rocket projectors.

Nuclear stockpile
India’s nuclear stockpile has around 130 warheads. Minimum tactical missile range is about 150 km, farthest strike distance tested successfully is 5,000-6,000 km (Agni -V). Surya, an intercontinental ballistic missile being developed, has a range up to 16,000 km.
China has a nuclear stockpile of 270 warheads. Chinese Intercontinental ballistic missiles can strike targets as far as 15,000 km. A missile shield guards China from incoming missiles by intercepting them before they reach Chinese territory. China has at least 90 ICBMs out of which 66 are land-based and 24 are submarine-based.

CHINA IS A MORE POWERFUL COUNTRY THAN INDIA.
Powerful by leaps and bounds.
It is pretty obvious why.

China is a global superpowerthat technically India cannot catch up to in the decades to come. WHAT IN THE WORLD IS NOT MADE IN CHINA?
China has great international power at it’s hands. While playing the major role in many international organisations, China is constantly increasing it’s global footprint by building Chinese outposts and ports in various countries.

Some people think it’s China, Some India. But the fact is China is strong on paper. If any case the war happens (99% less likely), There are natural borders between India and China, Which are the Highest points on earth. Looking at the Tank strength of China 9000+, That’s about 3000 more than India but there is no way you can use tanks near mountains. So the tank strength doesn’t effect India. China has about 22,00,000 active troops and India about 14,00,000 active troops. China is huge thrice the size of India. It borders 14 countries and China ongoing disputes with half of them. In war conditions China can’t send all of its strength towards the Indian Borders, Because it has to guard 9,000,000 sqkm ofl and area. So looking at those numbers India has the upper hand even though India has ongoing disputes with Pakistan, If war happens Pakistan will definitely attack India, If that happens India will be forced to send troops to Indo Pak border, Which will help China.
Both Countries are developing nations. I hope nothing happens and relationships get better. Because if the war happens China’s economy will be affected and If that happens tha world’s economy will be affected.

事实上，中国的强大是纸面上强大。
一旦爆发战争，印度和中国存在天然屏障，也就是地球最高的山脉。
中国坦克9000多辆，比印度多3000辆，但是山地不适合坦克作战。
所以坦克部队对印度不会造成威胁。
中国现役部队220万，印度140万，中国国土面积是印度的3倍，与14个国家接壤，与其中的一半邻国存在纠纷。一旦开战，中国无法在印度方向倾尽全力，必须守卫900万平方公里的领土。
这么说来，印度军队其实有数量上的优势的。
一旦开战，巴基斯坦肯定会打印度。如此一来，印度将被迫向印巴边界派遣军队，中国受到的压力就会减小。
中印都是发展中国家，希望两国相安无事，希望中印关系改善。
一旦爆发战争，中国经济会受影响，继而影响到世界经济。
从以上评论中可以看出，虽然大多数外国网友认为中国纸面实力更强大，到并不认为中国能够击败印度，这跟国内的网友的看法有很大出入。大家怎么看？
